Overview about the project

GlobalXperts Resident Engineer (GXE) for a period of six (6) months to assist and support Arista’s Customer with the implementation of data center communication infrastructure upgrade and migration to Arista data center network products and technologies on site with the customer.

GlobalXperts provided a qualified resource to support Arista and their end Customer in Design and implementation for the successful deployment of Arista data center products and technologies: 

1. Participate in Design: Participate in Arista design and migration planning development
2. Gather Information: Gather relevant Customer technical information for use in Arista design and migration development
3. Analyze and document the existing Customer network environment.
4. Validate and Confirm: Validation and confirmation of Customer technical information
5. Provide migration services for Customer’s data center network.
6. Provide integration services for Customer’s data center network.
7. Assist with Application deployment for Customer’s data center network.
8. Testing and troubleshooting of Customer’s data center network.
9. Assisting Customer with deployment project activities that require on-site implementation capability and day-to-day network operations activities (“NetOps”).
10. Attend Customer Meetings: Attend Customer project/progress meetings
11. Attend Arista Meetings: Attend Arista planning meetings
12. Communication: Communicate and promote Arista design and migration approaches to Customer
13. Coordinate: Coordinate required resources to carry out project task, migration, and cutover work activities successfully

Plan

Assist customer’s team with the design and placement of Arista solutions.

Optimize and migrate from existing Juniper environment to Arista infrastructure.

Maintain

Work with network teams to provide ongoing network management recommendations.

Assist Customer with managing licenses.

  • Coordinate customer’s acquisition of the necessary licenses

Work with Customer to request new features.

  •  Gather and document new feature requests from customer and communicate such information to Arista PS

Facilitate discussions between Customer and product management to review roadmaps

  • Communicate updates to Arista’s product road map to customer
  • Provide technical and product updates

Troubleshoot

 Take point on escalation issues.

  • Track and management support cases and ensure proper resolution of such cases Coordinate communication of cases to Arista PS when required

Work with support to troubleshoot product issues.

Train
